The SIFOS PDA-604A, as a professional instrument for IEEE 802.3 AF/AT/BT protocol consistency testing, is of great significance in ensuring that the functionality of the powerd device (PD) fully complies with industry standards, ensuring the interoperability, reliability, and security of the PoE power supply system, thereby improving the overall performance and quality of network equipment.
PDA-604A is a scalable instrument used for testing IEEE 802.3bt and 802.3at PDs. This enables users to choose the configuration that best suits their needs at the lowest cost. The basic configuration of PDA-604A supports 2 and 4 pairs of PD power supply, power on, and metering. The detection and measurement include 802.3bt connection check, as well as highly programmable voltage, current, and power waveform capture in 2 or 4 pairs mode. This configuration supports testing of PD classes 0-4 and has 802.3at and 802.3bt PSE simulation capabilities.
The PDA-604A powerd device analyzer provides a one click fully automatic testing sequence and limit check of key power supply equipment PoE characteristics. By measuring at the network interface of the power supply equipment, it is possible to accurately evaluate whether the key parameters related to the interoperability of 802.3at and 802.3bt meet the specification requirements, thereby avoiding serious defects that may occur when using 802.3at/802.3bt Power over Ethernet (PSE) for power supply equipment testing.
Supported by PDA interactive software, PDA-604A provides powerful real-time tools for analyzing PD power consumption during any time period under constraints specified by the user for PD power grants (including category based grants and LLDP grants). Real time check the limits of average power, peak power, transient power, and MPS power.
